Established in 1962, T&M Financial, Inc. has been a leading financial services firm in northeast Kansas for many years. Our financial planning service has received national recognition and is considered by many to be among the best in the country.
We offer a unique financial planning service which is designed for both middle and upper income clients. Unlike many services, the majority of our recommendations normally do not involve a product purchase of any kind. Although we do handle insurance and investment products for clients, these products actually constitute a small part of most financial plans, even though they may provide the majority of our compensation in many cases. All clients are given the choice of paying a fee for their financial plan or compensating us by purchasing insurance and investment products.
Our planners are responsible for obtaining referrals to prospective clients and then contacting those referred to schedule a meeting at our office. The planner conducts a thorough fact finding meeting and is then assisted by staff in preparing a detailed financial plan for the client. The planner explains the plan to the client at a subsequent meeting and is responsible for helping the client implement the ideas.
Our planners receive insurance commissions, securities commissions, and fee income. For those who are willing to work hard, this position offers a realistic opportunity to earn a six figure income within 5 years.
All planners initially receive intensive in-house training which consists of video tapes, audio tapes, and live classroom instruction. Ongoing training is provided thereafter. All planners are required to enroll in the Chartered Financial Consultant program by the end of the first year.
Insurance and Securities Licensing is required. Prospective associates are assisted in obtaining these licenses prior to contract.
All applicants participate in an extensive four step selection process which allows them to determine if this is the right career for them before they quit their existing job. The first step in this process is to take an aptitude test. This test requires no study or preparation and will indicate whether an applicant should further investigate this as a possible career.
To arrange a time to sit for the aptitude test contact our office manager at (785) 266-8333. Or Email firstname.lastname@example.org
